Monterey County Fair

I wanted to publicly thank Dave Crozier and the Monterey County Sheriffs Department for sharing the lost child booth at the Monterey County Fair with Citizen Corps.  Brian and I had a great day at the fair sharing preparedness information and opportunies!  I hope that we can do this again next year!  We did go through most of our give aways and we need to look at purchasing more!  These items really bring people to the booth!  We certainly had over 200 people come by in the few hours we were… Continue

Last Chance for Free Tdap vaccinations

Did your 7th- 12th grade student get their Tdap shot for school yet? Students will be sent home soon if the schools don’t have proof of the shot. Parents must come with your student. Bring your student’s current vaccine record.

 Looking for Volunteers for Saturday Whooping Cough Vaccination Clinics

 

In response to the new Tdap vaccination requirement for middle and high school students the Health Department is sponsoring a limited number of Saturday Tdap only Clinics.  Volunteers are needed for registration paperwork, rooming patients, translation and customer service.

Proof of Whooping Cough vaccine needed for 7th -12th entry next fall

Parents have less than a month left to get information to schools
