Good Day All,

I regret to share with you that Wayne has asked to step down from the leadership role of the Citizen Corps Council.  He engaged in a valiant effort to sustain the meetings and membership, but with his other commitments to CERT, he is finding that it is just too much!  

Additionally Ed, our VP has also taken a new role and will no longer be serving.  We came to the July meeting with 2 key leadership slots vacant:(  This was a sure sign that change is at our doorstep!  As we explore what the future of Citizen Corps is I will fill the President's role and Lisa Hoefler has agreed to fill in as the interim Vice President.  We will be reaching out to OES for support and to explore alignment with other efforts.  These are exciting days!

Thanks to Gale and Dave for continuing to fill their office responsibilities and bringing a sustaining momentum as we face the days ahead!
