Monterey County Disaster Resilience Summit was a Great Success!

Good Day All,

I regret to share with you that Wayne has asked to step down from the leadership role of the Citizen Corps Council.  He engaged in a valiant effort to sustain the meetings and membership, but with his other commitments to CERT, he is finding that it is just too much!

Central Coast Cert Association participated in the Aromas Tri-County Fire Protection District Open House.

David and Rhonda Ramsey and Wayne O'Neil of Central Coast Cert Associations attended the open house at the Aromas Tri-County Fire Protection District fire station in Aromas on Saturday 13 Oct 2012. It was a beautiful day Sunny and 88 degrees. We talked to all the families that attended about disaster preparedness and handed out brochures to aid them in setting up a family disaster kit. North Seaside Neighborhood Watch

The North Seaside Neighborhood Watch will be participating at the Seaside Fire Department annual Open House. The Open House will be on October 6th from 11:00 to 3:00. Central Coast Cert Association Team Leader Training Certification Course.

On November 3rd 2012 Central Coast Cert Associastion will be conducting the First Team Leader Certification Training Course. The course will consist of 4 hours of classroom intruction on the 3rd of November 2012 utilizing the The FEMA Leardership course and on the 10th of November a four hours Hands on utilizing the leadership techniques.
