Is your emergency preparedness stockpile up to date?
When it’s time to fall back and say goodbye to daylight saving time, it is also a good time to check your preparedness kit to make sure your emergency kit isn't missing any items and that the food hasn't expired. If you have not created an emergency kit yet, now is the time to create one! (don’t forget to check the batteries in your smoke and carbon monoxi....)
It is important to have at least a three-day supply of bottled water, non-perishable foods, essential medications and comfort items set aside for each member of your family. Do not forget Fluffy and Rover, pets are part of the family too, so include some emergency supplies for them.
