Event Description

The world's largest gathering of volunteer and service leaders from the nonprofit, government, and corporate sectors. This year's theme — "Civic. Energy. Generation." — reflects the tremendous excitement in our nation today as people of all ages and backgrounds unify in a powerful movement to bring about social change.

For the first time, there will be a disaster preparedness tract. Topics include:
Organizing volunteers for animal response in a disaster;
Utilizing emerging technologies in disasters;
Managing a disaster program when resources are scarce;
Managing spontaneous volunteers a disaster;
Pandemic Flu;
