Farm Day

Farm Day is a three hour event in which over 1,000 grade school children (grouped by individual classes with their teacher) are able to view presentations related to agricultural education. For example- The Sheriff's Office conducts a presentation with the Rescue Squad and on rural crime prevention. It would be easy to dovetail the need for disaster preparation, communications, fire, animal rescue and more as related to rural areas.
